The Council on Foreign Relations

In my second post, I am currently working on building up some credible background information on the subject of what many are now calling the push for "Global Governance" and what some refer to as the "New World Order" or "One World Order".

In doing so, I feel that a good place to start is with an organization that has been instrumental in many decisions on many of the current world situations that we are now in the midst of and indeed many of the world events that have already happened.

The book I am currently reading which is called "Hope of the Wicked" by Ted Flynn, cites this organization many times throughout the different chapters of his book, which I have just begun to dig into.
I will be citing different stories and quotes from this book as well.

This organization is called "The Council on Foreign Relations".

They are said to be "A Non Partisan resource for Information and Analysis" and they rightly may be just that.
But my gut feeling is that this powerful "resource" is much more than that.

Many people have talked about a "Shadow government" of sorts that really runs things "behind the scenes" and through a lot of future digging I hope to have my "gut feelings" validated that this is indeed the case and that this organization is a driving force behind this mostly invisible level of U.S. and World government.

So, a little background on this organization is necessary.

What they do (from their website):
The Council on Foreign Relations is a nonpartisan and independent membership organization. Throughout the year, we hold a variety of meetings at which world leaders, government officials, academics, and other foreign-policy specialists discuss and debate world affairs. Transcripts of on-the-record meetings are available here. The Council is also home to a highly regarded think tank, whose fellows conduct research on international subjects ranging from national security to children’s education. And it is a publisher of a variety of reports and books and Foreign Affairs, the leading journal of global politics.

The following history comes from their website.
And I will probably be quoting a lot more stories and items that have to do with this organization on these pages in the future.

On to a little history of the "CFR":
